| Radar option now available Standard Horizon Chart Plotter owners with compatible Chart Plotters are able to upgrade their existing plotter to Radar capable Software for free by contacting Standard Horizon Marine Product Support at 800/767-2450 and requesting Software update card. To confirm your Chart Plotter has the software to operate a Si-tex Radar Antenna: 1. Turn on the Chart Plotter and select the chart page. 2. Press [MENU] and look for a Radar selection in the menu. 3. If the Chart Plotter has a Radar selection, it has the software. Sitex compatible radar models: MDS-1, MDS-8, MDS-9, MDS-10-4, MDS-10-5 For additional information click on the Owners Manual tab, select Radar and download the owner and installation manuals. The CP180 truly allow you not to worry where the sun is shining! Dedicated Navigation Keys Using a GPS Chart Plotter has never been so easy! The CP180 has dedicated MARK and ROUTE keys that allows the creation of a single waypoint or creation of a route right on the Chart Page. Want to navigate to one of the marks or to a Route, the GOTO key allows you to do so directly on the chart or via the popup menu when the key is pressed. Supplied with swivel bracket and includes flush mounting hardware The CP180 is supplied with a swivel mount bracket that allows the Chart Plotter rotated 360 degrees (left or right) for optimal viewing. For custom installations the CP180 is supplied with all the hardware to flush mount the Chart plotter in and area you choose. To make installation even simpler Standard Horizon supplies a cut out template sticker to that allows you to find the ideal location and guides you where to make the cuts for that custom installation. WAAS (Wide Area Augumentation System) A 16-channel WAAS receiver is the heart of the CP180. WAAS delivers pinpoint repeatable accuracy to within 3 meters of a vessel's actual position without the additional expense of a Differential receiver. The WAAS system currently covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and parts of northern South America. Additionally, the CP180 is EGNOS and MSAS ready which will extend superior receiver performance to the United Kingdom and European Continent. VHF Digital Selective Calling and Position Polling The CP180 GPS Chart Plotter has the capability to be connected to STANDARD HORIZON VHF Fixed mounted radios with DSC polling capability. This is done by simply connecting 3 wires between the CP180 and the VHF. Connecting the products together allow you to securely and totally privately poll and display another vessels position on the display of the CP180. To take this one step further, the CP180 has a DSC Call directory that logs the position of the polled vessels and also the position of a vessel that has transmitted a DSC Distress call. FF520 Optional black box fish finder The optional FF520 Fish Finder option brings high-end fish finding capability to Standard Horizon's CP155C, CP175C, CP180, CP180i, CPV350 and CP1000C WAAS GPS Chart plotters making them the ideal choice for casual or professional anglers alike. The FF520 Dual Frequency (50 and 200kHz) Black Box Fish Finder's advanced filtering eliminates unwanted noise and sharpens return echos for enhanced seperation and detection. Transducer ID™ allows the FF520 to query the transducer (sold separately) to determine its perfromance characteristics. Power output, frequency, beam pattern and other unique transducer characteristics are sent to the fish finder. this data allows the fish finder to fine tune itself to match the transducer which optimizes overall system performance. No matter what the conditions, you will be able to fine tune your fishing rather than the fish finder.
